Donna Quick's short story "Far Out on the Sagebrush Sea" earned an Honourable Mention in the Canadian Shorts 2017 writing contest. It appears in the book titled "Canadian Shorts" - A Collection of Short Stories, a celebration of Canada's 150th birthday. All proceeds from this project are donated to The Canadian Council for Refugees.
